SV Lierop and Rijnlands Lyceum Wassenaar celebrate milestone anniversaries

SV Lierop, a Dutch sports club, will mark its 80th anniversary in October 2026. The club has scheduled a series of events, including a pub quiz on Thursday 15 October, a youth activity (date to be announced), and a "Super Sunday" during the anniversary weekend. The main celebration is a gala evening on Saturday 17 October at the club’s canteen, featuring music, memories and opportunities for members, former members, volunteers, supporters and sponsors to reconnect.

Rijnlands Lyceum Wassenaar, a secondary school in Wassenaar, will commemorate its 90th anniversary with a large reunion on Saturday 10 October 2026. The programme includes a reception for staff at 14:00, a welcome for alumni at 14:30, and a series of activities such as revisiting classrooms, attending lessons taught by former teachers, and taking new class‑photos. A buffet is served from 17:00 to 19:00, followed by a party that runs until 01:00. The event aims to bring together former students and staff from multiple generations to celebrate nine decades of the school’s history.
