SV Sandhausen to host Kaiserslautern U21 in Regionalliga match

SV Sandhausen is preparing to host 1. FC Kaiserslautern U21 at Hardtwald for the 10th matchday of the Regionalliga Südwest on Friday, October 2. Following a 2-1 away victory against FC-Astoria Walldorf, head coach Markus Kauczinski noted that while he was generally satisfied with the team's performance, there is a need for better clinical finishing to convert more chances.

Kauczinski expects a strong opponent in the Kaiserslautern side, noting their recent form following a coaching and system change. Regarding squad availability, SV Sandhausen will continue to be without Felix Lohkemper due to a muscle injury, and Stefan Maderer remains unable to carry a full workload. Potential options for the striker position include Tasos Leonidis, Max Wagner, and David Mamutovic.
