SV Werder Bremen pursues Eren Dinkci and Ludovit Reis

SV Werder Bremen is actively pursuing two significant player additions as the new Bundesliga season approaches.

The club is currently in negotiations with SC Freiburg regarding a potential move for winger Eren Dinkci. Due to financial constraints following the sale of Romano Schmid, Werder is seeking a loan deal rather than a permanent transfer. While Freiburg reportedly favors a loan with a mandatory purchase obligation in the low single-digit millions, Werder prefers a loan with an option to buy. A decision is expected by next week.

Separately, Werder Bremen is reportedly close to finalizing a permanent transfer for midfielder Ludovit Reis from FC Brügge. Reis, a former captain of rivals Hamburger SV, is expected to undergo a medical check in Bremen. The deal is described as an economically attractive package involving a relatively small transfer fee. If successful, the signing could be officially announced as early as Saturday.
