Sven Regener plans spontaneous film project in Mainz

Author and musician Sven Regener, currently serving a one-year term as the Mainz City Scribe (Stadtschreiber), has announced plans for a new film project. The project will feature spontaneous conversations between Regener and his long-time friend, director and producer David Schalko.

Regener intends to film these discussions in various wine taverns throughout Mainz. He emphasized a rejection of traditional scripting, stating that conversations between artists should remain unscripted to maintain authenticity. While a list of potential topics may be prepared as a fallback, Regener noted that they likely will not use it, relying instead on their long-standing personal connection to guide the dialogue.
