Sveti Franjo Elementary School Parents' Council responds to student case allegations
The Parents' Council of Sveti Franjo Elementary School in Tuzla has issued a statement expressing concern over how a recent student case is being portrayed in the media. The Council claims that reports have focused almost exclusively on the allegations made by a specific family (referred to as parents of B.) and the association ‘Zemlja djece u BiH’, while ignoring the school's official statements and the reactions of other parents in the same class.
The Council emphasized that the school maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward violence and has responded to all reported incidents. They noted that educational inspections and relevant authorities have investigated the school's administration and teaching staff, finding no irregularities in their conduct. The Council argued that not every childhood conflict should be automatically classified as violence and warned against labeling school employees and other students as aggressors based on unverified claims.
Separately, the Cantonal Court in Tuzla has postponed the execution of a decision regarding the termination of a student's right to attend the school. This postponement remains in effect until the conclusion of legal proceedings following a lawsuit against the School Board's decision.
