Montenegro Supreme Court extends detention of three organized crime suspects

The Supreme Court of Montenegro has extended the detention of Predrag Vukadinović, Zoran Perović, and Miloš Božović for an additional three months. The three individuals are suspected of belonging to a criminal organization formed in 2020, which was allegedly organized by the late A. K.

The criminal group is suspected of operating across Montenegro, Albania, and Greece with the intent to commit serious murders to gain illegal wealth and power. Specific allegations include Zoran Perović monitoring rival criminal groups, Miloš Božović procuring weapons and ammunition, and Predrag Vukadinović providing logistical support, including weapons, encrypted phones, and safe houses.

Furthermore, Vukadinović is suspected of complicity in a serious murder committed in a public place. The court cited the risk of flight and the potential for repeating criminal acts as reasons for the extended detention. Perović's detention is set to last until January 19, 2027, Božović's until January 20, 2027, and Vukadinović's until January 22, 2027.
