Svetvinčenat commemorates 79th anniversary of Blessed Miroslav Bulešić

The 79th anniversary of the martyrdom of Blessed Miroslav Bulešić was commemorated in Svetvinčenat with a central Mass on August 24. The festivities began on August 20, featuring pilgrimages through Svetvinčenat and Lanišće involving believers from various parts of the Poreč and Pula Diocese.

A large number of pilgrims gathered at the central square in Svetvinčenat to honor the relics of Bulešić. The religious service was led by Monsignor Vlado Razum, the auxiliary bishop of Zagreb, and attended by several other bishops, including Monsignor Ivan Štironja, the Bishop of Poreč and Pula.

During the celebration, a statue of Blessed Miroslav was presented to the presiding bishop as a symbol of prayer and remembrance for the priest and martyr.
