SVT announces participants for ‘Mästarnas mästare’ new season

SVT has announced the participants for the upcoming season of the popular television program ‘Mästarnas mästare’. The new season will feature nine participants competing individually for the title, moving away from the team-based Olympic theme used in the previous season.

Among the confirmed contestants is former Swedish handball star Nathalie Hagman, who recently retired from professional play at the Hungarian club Györ. Other notable participants include former football player Jimmy Durmaz. Karin Frick will return as the program host. Filming for the new season is scheduled to take place in Greece, with a premiere expected in early 2027.
