S&W appoints Lucy Saunders as partner to expand private client tax team

Accountancy and advisory firm S&W has appointed Lucy Saunders as a partner to strengthen its private client tax team across its London and Guildford offices. Saunders joins the firm from BDO, where she served as a private client tax partner, and previously held a partnership at Blick Rothenberg.

With over 20 years of experience, Saunders specializes in advising high-net-worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and internationally mobile clients on complex personal tax matters and financial planning. Her appointment marks a return to S&W, as she previously spent nearly three years at Smith & Williamson, the heritage business upon which S&W was founded.

Chris Shepard, partner and head of private client tax services at S&W, stated that Saunders’ technical expertise and market reputation make her exceptionally well-placed to support clients as the firm continues to invest in its private client capabilities.
