SW PA Teen Outreach launches HOPE Consortium

SW PA Teen Outreach has announced the kickoff meeting for its newly formed HOPE Consortium. The inaugural meeting is scheduled for October 21 at the Common Ground Teen Center in Washington.

The consortium aims to bring together community youth-serving agencies to focus on the Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences (HOPE) framework. This research-informed approach emphasizes how Positive Childhood Experiences (PCEs) contribute to healthy development and long-term wellbeing, potentially mitigating the negative effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs).

The initiative seeks to empower agencies to collaborate on efforts that integrate PCEs into children's lives, fostering resilience and better long-term community outcomes. Participation in the consortium is free for youth-serving adults.
