Swan Hellenic reports record revenue growth in expedition cruises

Swan Hellenic, an expedition cruise provider, has reported record-breaking financial results. The company achieved its strongest month for revenue and passenger numbers in July 2026, a trend that continued into August.

Driven by high demand for polar expeditions, July revenue rose by 170 percent. For the full year of 2026, the company expects a 268 percent increase in revenue compared to the previous year. Approximately two-thirds of total revenue is generated from cruises to the Arctic and Antarctic regions. Specifically, Arctic expedition revenue tripled, while passenger numbers for these routes increased by 125 percent.

The company's growth also extends to other regions: revenue for Asia-Pacific routes rose by 373 percent, and expeditions to the African coast saw a 98 percent increase. Swan Hellenic operates a five-star fleet consisting of three vessels: SH Minerva, SH Vega, and SH Diana. The company also reported a doubling of its repeat guest base and maintains a 4.7 rating on Cruise Critic.
