Swarna Dwipa Institute hosts national dialogue in Jakarta

The Swarna Dwipa Institute (SDI) hosted the ‘Dialog Kebangsaan untuk Negeri’ in Jakarta on August 22, 2026. The event aimed to facilitate dialogue among various national components, including activists across generations, to foster progress and sovereignty for Indonesia.

During the event, Deputy Minister of Manpower Afriansyah Noor emphasized the importance of dialogue in safeguarding the nation's independence. He noted that digital transformation and artificial intelligence are reshaping the labor market, making university degrees less of a sole requirement for employment. Noor highlighted that industries now prioritize real competence, adaptability, and professional certification to ensure local workers can compete globally.

SDI founder Frans Immanuel Saragih stated that the institute intends to serve as a platform for diverse perspectives to generate new ideas for the country. The event also included an awards ceremony, where Afriansyah Noor was recognized as a ‘Young Figure Caring for Labor’ and Dr. Ariawan was honored as a ‘Young Creative Journalism Figure’.
