Swatch and Omega release limited MoonSwatch in Spain

Swatch and Omega have released a new limited-edition MoonSwatch titled ‘Mission to the Sun – Solar Eclipse’. The release is highly restricted, available for only 24 hours on August 12 and exclusively in Spain.

Customers can purchase the timepiece through selected boutiques in cities such as Bilbao, Valencia, and Ibiza, via the brand’s local Spanish website, or through the ‘Rolling Planet’ mobile pop-up boutique currently touring the province of León. The design of the watch, featuring a 42mm yellow Bioceramic case and orange accents, is inspired by the visual effects of a total solar eclipse.

The release follows a pattern of unconventional marketing strategies used by Swatch for its MoonSwatch collection, which has become a significant phenomenon in the affordable watch market since its debut in 2022.
