Swatch launches new Destination Art watches designed by Tokyo illustrator

Swatch has expanded its Destination Art line with two new watches designed by Tokyo illustrator Shinji Tsuchimochi. The designs blend contemporary ukiyo-e with manga and anime influences.

The ‘Expressway to the Future’ model features a 41mm case and depicts a Tokyo taxi scene with a pink expressway curling toward the moon. This specific model is available at selected stores in the Tokyo area.

The ‘Bridge to the Past’ model features a 34mm transparent biosourced case and depicts an Edo-era bridge with fireworks. This version is available through Swatch stores across Japan and via the company’s Japanese online shop.
