Sweden election ballots reported missing for specific parties

Reports of missing election ballots for specific parties have emerged in several Swedish locations. Nils Littorin, leader of Malmölistan, documented the absence of ballots for both Malmölistan and Örebropartiet in several voting booths. Election officials responded by stating they were in the process of distributing them and that the shortage was due to the polling stations having just opened.

Other voters reported similar issues regarding the availability of ballots for the Norrlandspartiet in Sundsvall and Kramfors. Some observers expressed concerns that these occurrences might indicate more than mere incompetence, though officials maintain they are part of the ongoing setup process.

In Mönsterås, the Sweden Democrats (Sverigedemokraterna) briefly posted a Facebook message alleging widespread election fraud and encouraging supporters to film and confront election officials. The party later removed the post, apologizing and stating the information was based on a source that proved to be unreliable. Researcher Andreas Önnerfors Jahrehorn noted that such confrontational approaches are problematic as they assume intentional manipulation rather than administrative errors.
