Sweden election: Ebba Busch proposes Danish-style healthcare model

As Sweden approaches election day, Christian Democrat leader and Deputy Prime Minister Ebba Busch has launched a campaign proposing the nationalization of the Swedish healthcare system. In a campaign video filmed in front of Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen, Busch advocates for adopting the Danish healthcare model to address Swedish medical issues, a move that includes the potential abolition of regional authorities. Currently, none of the other seven Swedish political parties support this proposal.

Meanwhile, the Danish organization Europabevægelsen is monitoring the election closely. The group is specifically focused on the potential influence of political fringe parties and the prospects for maintaining a pro-European, decisive Swedish government. Key concerns include the stability of the Øresund region's labor market and the management of migration through collective European solutions rather than unilateral actions.
