Sweden experiences simultaneous transition of three seasons
Sweden is experiencing a simultaneous transition into three different seasons due to unstable weather patterns. While southern Skåne maintains summer-like conditions, much of the rest of the country is seeing autumn temperatures, and snow has already arrived at some mountain stations in Lapland.
Meteorologists from SMHI report that low pressure over Svealand and Norrland is bringing snow to Värmland and large parts of the north, while Götaland faces rain showers. In eastern Svealand, including the Stockholm area, temperatures are expected to remain below 10 degrees Celsius until later in the week.
Although some sunny intervals are expected in southern and western Sweden early in the week, the weather remains unsettled. Forecasters warn of continued instability across Scandinavia, with potential for more rain and fluctuating temperatures before a possible high-pressure system brings drier conditions toward the end of the week.
