The phenomenon of ‘ghost rockets’ in Sweden remains an unsolved mystery for military and scientific observers. These unidentified flying objects, described as bright, cigar-shaped entities, were frequently reported in Sweden, particularly around 1946. The Swedish Armed Forces established a special committee to investigate the matter following more than one thousand reports.

Svahn observed a pattern where sightings often occurred between 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM during clear weather in July or August.
While one hypothesis suggests the objects could have been V-bombs transferred from Nazi Germany to the Soviet Union, the true origin of these physical objects remains unknown.
