Sweden youth football faces referee abuse and transfer rule disputes

Separately, parents in Östergötland have criticized football regulations that prevent children from playing matches after switching clubs mid-season. A 10-year-old boy was reportedly barred from playing for his new club due to rules set by the Östergötlands fotbollsförbund. The federation responded by stating that, for players under 14, regulations dictate that a player may only represent one club during a single playing term, specifically noting restrictions during the July 1 to October 31 period.
