Sweden's 2026 Pride events include Dala‑Floda parade and Stockholm volunteer drive
On 8 July 2026 the village of Dala‑Floda in Dalarna hosted a Stolt Pride parade, featuring rainbow flags, music and community activities. Residents and visitors walked together through the town, joined by families, children and local LGBTQ+ groups. Participants such as Josefin Nerhagen, Lisa Nerhagen and Sofia Andersson highlighted the event’s inclusive atmosphere, while RFSL Dalarnas chairman Mikael Selg noted it was the smallest Pride he had attended.
Meanwhile, Stockholm Pride is preparing for its 2026 edition and is recruiting long‑term volunteers for a range of roles, including partner coordination, logistics, IT and festival operations. The organisation seeks individuals to help plan the festival, manage partner relationships and ensure safe, inclusive experiences for tens of thousands of attendees.
