Swedish gang member Ildar Galiyev charged with murder

Ildar Galiyev, a 26-year-old man associated with the Dalen network, has been charged with murder and several other serious crimes at the Södertörn District Court. Galiyev, who was extradited from Greece to Sweden in February, is suspected of involvement in multiple violent crimes occurring throughout 2023 and 2024 in the Stockholm, Linköping, and Uppsala areas.

Prosecutors allege that Galiyev acted as a recruiter for other individuals, including youths, to carry out these crimes. The violence is believed to be linked to ongoing conflicts between criminal networks. The charges against him include serious weapons offenses, attempted murder in Hässelby, instigation of attempted murder in Hägersten and Akalla, and murder in Stockholm.

In addition to Galiyev, several other individuals have been charged in connection with these incidents, including multiple men in their early 20s and a man in his 40s, for varying degrees of involvement in the murders.
