Swedish King hosts elite summit for personal chefs of heads of state

The King of Sweden hosted an exclusive gathering at Stockholm Palace for the ‘Club des Chefs des Chefs’, an elite network consisting of personal chefs who serve heads of state, including kings and presidents.

The event featured 24 culinary professionals—20 men and four women—who gathered in Princess Sibylla’s apartment. Among the attendees were Swedish star chefs Fredrik Eriksson and Viktor Westerlind. The gathering served as a high-level culinary summit where chefs shared insights into the preferences and dietary requirements of world leaders.

Chef Fredrik Eriksson described the evening as a pleasant meeting of international professionals, noting that the King expressed pride in the current level of Swedish gastronomy. During the event, the King reportedly enjoyed a lighthearted atmosphere, even receiving a personalized chef’s jacket.
