Swedish media updates: Maria Rooth leaves SVT and Bingolotto changes

Swedish media personalities and programming are seeing several changes. Maria Rooth is leaving SVT as a hockey expert after seven years, with her role being taken over by Johanna Lagus. SVT plans to honor Rooth during the TV-pucken event in late October.

TV4 is implementing changes to the program Bingolotto for its upcoming season. The number of weekly bingo games will increase from three to five, and the top prize will rise to five million kronor. The amount allocated to community organizations will also increase from 23 to 38 kronor per ticket. Lotta Engberg and Daniel Norberg will continue as hosts.
