Swedish metal bands MEGASCAVENGER and METHANE unveil new albums

Swedish one‑man death‑metal project MEGASCAVENGER, led by Rogga Johansson, announced its sixth album “Toxic Noxious Undeath,” slated for release in August 2026. The record features ten tracks and a roster of guest vocalists from the European death‑metal scene, including Marc Grewe, Dan Swanö, Paul Speckmann, Dave Ingram and others.

Swedish thrash outfit METHANE released a new single and video for the title track “Demolate,” promoting its upcoming full‑length album of the same name, scheduled for 2 October on Fireflash Records. Frontman and bassist Tim Scott described the album as a “war‑cry” blending NYHC‑punk aggression with Bay‑Area‑inspired thrash, and noted the band’s history of touring Europe and the United States alongside acts such as WHIPLASH and MASSACRE.
