Swedish military official expresses concern over Russian adaptability
Ewa Skoog Haslum, head of operations for the Swedish Armed Forces, has expressed concern regarding the Russian military's ability to adapt its combat techniques and command structures based on observations from the war in Ukraine. She noted that while Sweden previously understood Russian command and control well, the Russian army is demonstrating increased adaptability in its warfare methods.
Haslum highlighted developments in long-range combat and the testing of new systems as areas of concern, alongside the ongoing verbal threats regarding nuclear weapons. However, she also noted that the Russian military has faced setbacks, specifically citing the loss of significant numbers of personnel and highly trained staff.
