Swedish pair Hölting Nilsson and Mjörnheim take silver at Malmö Beach Pro Tour

Jacob Hölting Nilsson and Alfred Mjörnheim reached the final of the Malmö Beach Pro Tour in July 2026 after progressing through a quarter‑final win over a German pair and a semifinal victory against a Norwegian duo. Nilsson, previously world‑number‑one with Elmer Andersson, teamed with Mjörnheim following Andersson’s hip injury.

In the final the Swedish team were defeated by the Dutch pair Sam van der Loo and Mees Sengers. The Dutch won the first set 21‑17, the Swedes rallied to claim the second set 26‑24, but lost the deciding set 13‑15. Nilsson said, "We had fun, besides a silver medal it is also a positive experience."
