Swedish real estate transactions show rising villa prices
Recent real estate transactions in Jönköping and Hamneda highlight varying trends in the Swedish housing market. In Jönköping, a 141-square-meter house on Valhallavägen 20 changed ownership in May 2026, while a terraced house on Violbacken 45 sold for 3,955,000 SEK in July 2026.
According to Svensk Mäklarstatistik, villa prices in Jönköping municipality have risen by 3.9 percent over the last three months. The average price per square meter in the municipality is 31,660 SEK. The most expensive sale in Jönköping over the past year was on Advokatgatan 7, which sold for 13,600,000 SEK.
In Hamneda, a 70-square-meter house at Extorp Brotorpet 1 was sold in June 2026 for 250,000 SEK. In the Ljungby municipality, villa prices saw a 4.0 percent increase over the last three months, with a 7 percent increase recorded over the past year.
