The Swedish Royal Court has denied rumors that 14-year-old Princess Estelle has a tattoo. The speculation arose after photographs taken during Crown Princess Victoria’s 49th birthday celebrations at Solliden on Öland appeared to show a small, dark heart on the princess’s left ankle.

Media reports noted that the mark appeared somewhat blurred at the edges, suggesting it may have been drawn with a pen rather than being a permanent tattoo. The Royal Court clarified that Princess Estelle has no tattoos.
