Swedish royal grandchildren return to school
Seven of the Swedish royal couple's nine grandchildren have returned to school following the summer break. To maintain privacy, the children are listed under the surname Bernadotte in school registries.
Princess Estelle, 14, has started eighth grade, while Princess Leonore, 12, has entered sixth grade. Prince Nicolas is in fifth grade, and 10-year-olds Prince Oscar and Prince Alexander have moved into fourth grade. Prince Gabriel is starting third grade, and Princess Adrienne is in second grade. Prince Julian remains in preschool.
Most of the children attend Campus Manilla, a well-known school on Djurgården in Stockholm. While Prince Alexander has moved to a larger school for middle school, the court's information chief, Margareta Thorgren, confirmed that most children are continuing in their previous educational institutions.
In a separate anecdote, media personality Katrin Zytomierska recalled a past encounter with Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia, noting that the family traveled in standard economy class, an observation that surprised other passengers on the flight.
