Swedish Sailors Anton Dahlberg and Lovisa Karlsson Target Olympic Gold at LA 2028

Olympic medalists Anton Dahlberg and Lovisa Karlsson have set their sights on a gold medal at the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles. Dahlberg, a five‑time Olympian, previously earned a silver in the 470 class at Tokyo 2020 and a bronze with Karlsson at Paris 2024. Karlsson, who placed 14th in the women's 470 in Tokyo, partnered with Dahlberg when the mixed 470 class was introduced in 2021. The duo won the World Cup in Hyères in 2022, captured their first European title that same year and defended it in 2023. They will compete in the World Cup series on the Olympic waters in Los Angeles in July, followed by the World Championships in Japan in August, using those events as preparation for the 2028 Olympics. Both athletes emphasize their strong partnership, support from Swedish sailing clubs and the national federation, and their ambition to complete their Olympic medal collection with gold.
