Swedish speedway clubs announce key roster extensions

Swedish speedway clubs are finalizing their rosters for upcoming seasons. Lejonen Gislaved has confirmed the contract extension of young Swedish rider Albin Sigvardsson. Sigvardsson, who gained experience in the previous season, is expected to compete for a spot in the first team while also riding for Valsarna in the Allsvenskan to further his development.

In another development, Dackarna Malilla has extended the contract of Artiom Laguta for the 2027 season. Laguta, a key leader for the team, finished the recent season with a 2.328 average, ranking fifth in the Bauhaus-Ligan scoring standings and helping the club secure the Swedish championship. Team manager Morgan Andersson noted that retaining Laguta was a top priority for the defending champions.
