Swedish sports coaches face disciplinary issues and referee criticism
In Swedish sports, coaches and teams are facing disciplinary scrutiny. Brage co-head coach Anders Bååth has received a suspension for the upcoming home match against Nordic after receiving his third yellow card of the season. Bååth expressed frustration over the incident, which stemmed from a reaction to a refereeing error during a match against Örebro. Consequently, co-head coach Gustav Källberg will manage the team alone for the match.
In hockey, Modo Hockey head coach Mikael Karlberg is addressing criticism from referees regarding his team's conduct. Referees have reportedly told the team “not now again,” citing excessive complaining during preseason matches. Karlberg stated he intends to curb this behavior immediately to avoid the team gaining a reputation for complaining or diving, noting that such conduct is ultimately a leadership issue.
