Swedish sports organizations announce new season updates

Various Swedish sports organizations are preparing for upcoming seasons. IFK Vänersborg has reported a record of over 400 active players for the 2025/2026 season and is currently recruiting children and youth for its bandy programs, including skating schools and junior teams.

Meanwhile, Svensk Fäktning has announced the schedule for the 2026–2027 fencing season. The announcement includes dates for national team camps in Stockholm and Gothenburg for various disciplines such as épée, foil, and sabre. The federation also noted updates to the Swedish Ranking and Masters rules, alongside a reminder regarding the code of conduct for national team activities.
