Swedol reports 50 percent turnover increase after Vimmerby relocation

Swedol, a retailer in Vimmerby, reports a significant increase in turnover following its relocation to Södra Industrigatan. After moving from its previous location on Magasinsgatan, where it had operated for 20 years, the company has seen an estimated 50 percent increase in sales.

Store manager Mikael Rinaldo attributes this success to an expanded product range and a more strategic location. Unlike the previous shop, which focused on clothing and protective equipment, the new location offers tools, automotive electronics, and chemicals. The move also places the store closer to industry peers such as Materialmännen, Carlenskogs, and Ahlsell, facilitating easier access for customers in the construction sector.
