Swerve Strickland attacks Bandido and says he’d have given Oba Femi a WWE title debut

Swerve Strickland returned to the ring at ROH Supercard of Honor, ambushing newly crowned ROH World Champion Bandido with a surprise assault and a vertebreaker onto a chair. The attack set up a first‑round match between the two at AEW Double or Nothing for the Owen Hart Cup.

In a separate interview on The Bootleg Kev Podcast, Strickland praised newcomer Oba Femi, stating, “If I had the pen, your debut would be winning that belt.” He suggested the Nigerian wrestler should have captured the WWE World Title on his debut, highlighting his belief in Femi’s potential.

Both incidents underscore Strickland’s storyline focus on aggressive tactics and his vocal support for rising talent in professional wrestling.
