Swiggy Instamart leadership expansion quick commerce food marketplace

Swiggy has announced the expansion of leadership roles for three senior executives to support the scaling of its Instamart and Food Marketplace businesses.

Himavant Kurnala has been appointed Chief Growth and Product Officer for Instamart. In this capacity, he will unify growth, marketing, analytics, and product functions to enhance customer value. Kurnala has previously led Instamart’s product charter and contributed to its transition toward an AI-native operating model.

Nitesh Garg has been named Chief Technology Officer for Instamart. Having led engineering for the quick commerce unit since its inception, Garg will now oversee the technology function with an emphasis on using AI to improve reliability and operational efficiency.

Saurav Goyal has been elevated to Chief Operating Officer of Swiggy’s Food Marketplace. Goyal, who has worked on strategic planning and sustainable profitability, will be responsible for driving execution and operating discipline while continuing to lead Driver and Delivery and taking on Food Customer Experience.
