Swiggy Instamart store raided in Hyderabad after delivery partner protest

Delivery partners staged a protest at a Swiggy Instamart warehouse in Hastinapuram, Hyderabad, alleging that the company was forcing them to deliver expired food products to customers. Riders claimed that questioning management regarding these items resulted in their delivery accounts being blocked.

Following the protest and a formal complaint, food safety officials conducted a raid on the dark store located on ZP Road. Inspectors reportedly seized 14 expired items, including milk, paneer, mango fruit drinks, strawberry juice, ginger-garlic paste, cookies, and packaged drinking water. Food safety officials have reported the findings to higher authorities to determine further action.
