Swimmers Fran Miodrag and Lauren Fanucchi announce college commitments

Two competitive swimmers have announced their commitments to American universities.

Croatian breaststroke specialist Fran Miodrag, a finalist at the 2024 European Junior Championships, has committed to swim for Drury University in Missouri starting in the fall of 2026. Miodrag, who trains with Plivacki Klub Dubrava in Zagreb, has recorded strong performances in breaststroke and freestyle events across various international competitions.

Lauren Fanucchi, a US Nationals qualifier from Saratoga, California, has verbally committed to Vanderbilt University for the fall of 2027. Fanucchi, who swims for Palo Alto Stanford Aquatics, specializes in butterfly and freestyle events, recently breaking the 2:00 mark in the 200 butterfly.
