Swimming clubs achieve success at Staatsbad-Pokal in Bad Nenndorf
Local swimming clubs SGS Barsinghausen and Waspo Rinteln achieved significant success at the 39th Staatsbad-Pokal swimming festival held in Bad Nenndorf.
SGS Barsinghausen recorded two new city records during the event. The female 4 x 50 meter breaststroke relay team set a record with a time of 2:33.55 minutes, while the mixed 8 x 50 meter medley relay team achieved a time of 4:09.31 minutes. The club also secured several podium finishes and second-place rankings in various freestyle and medley relays.
Waspo Rinteln's youth team, consisting of 25 swimmers, earned a total of seven medals: two gold, three silver, and two bronze. Additionally, several swimmers met the qualification standards for the upcoming district short course championships in Hannover scheduled for early October.
