Swimming marathons held in Šilo, Crikvenica and Pula

The 116th Šilo – Crikvenica swimming marathon saw 346 participants from 14 countries compete in a 3,500-meter race. Mauro Bobanović from Rijeka set a new course record with a time of 38:58. In the men's competition, Slovenia's Gašper Bohinc took second place, followed closely by Italy's Alessandro Sgubin Meglio. Ana Bobanović won the women's category with a time of 42:32.

In a separate event, the 47th Mini maraton Grada Pule featured an 1,850-meter course. Italian swimmers Alessandro Sgubin Meglio and Martina Balestra repeated their previous year's success, securing first place in the men's and women's categories respectively. Karl Krčelić from the Arena swimming club finished second in a close photo finish.
