Swimming pool facilities report reopening delays and completions

Swimming pool facilities in Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina are facing different operational updates. In Croatia, the Svetice Swimming Pool Complex has delayed the reopening of its Olympic and school pools. The delay is due to a serious technical failure caused by a flood in the facility's technical area in late July, which damaged the main control system. While the wellness center is scheduled to resume regular operations on September 7, the pools remain closed pending the delivery of specialized electronic replacement parts from abroad.

In Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the indoor pool at the Mixed Secondary Industrial School is nearing completion after a decade of closure. Following a multi-million KM reconstruction project, Zenica-Doboj Canton Prime Minister Nezir Pivić announced that works are in the final stages. The renovation, which involved total investments exceeding three million KM, includes the installation of new pool technology and equipment to support swimming sports and public use.
