Swimming training and courses offered in Germany
Various swimming training programs and instructional courses are being organized in Germany. In Munich, the Bavarian Triathlon Association is hosting a professional development seminar on November 28, 2026. Led by Christoph Gawens, Faris Al-Sultan, and Philipp Peter, the program combines theoretical instruction at the TU Sports Faculty with practical sessions at the Olympia-Schwimmhalle. The training focuses on crawl technique, various swimming strokes, and flip turns, with a specific emphasis on methods for children and youth.
In Wiesbaden, the municipal swimming facility operator Mattiaqua is launching new courses starting November 15 at the Mainzer Straße leisure pool. The curriculum includes water familiarity for young children, advanced courses for youth, and technical training for adults. These programs aim to improve safety, movement patterns, and specific techniques such as the crawl stroke.
