Swinoujście Saline Facility Prepares for Baltic Fair with Ongoing Maintenance

The saline inhalation tower in Swinoujście is kept under daily supervision and regular servicing. A contract covering the period from 15 April to 15 November stipulates daily checks of the installation’s cleanliness, brine quality, pumps and circulation system, complemented by weekly, monthly and post‑rain inspections. An annual technical review is scheduled for July. The current service contract costs 14 000 zł, with additional expenses of 3 477 zł for brine, water and spare parts. Oversight is provided by the municipal sanitary‑epidemiological station and the operation is managed by local specialist Radosław Lipert.

From 30 July to 2 August the city will host the Baltic Fair (Jarmark Bałtycki), a four‑day event featuring exhibitors from across Poland, regional gastronomy, ship cruises, family activity zones and evening concerts. Highlights include a mobile exhibition by the Copernicus Science Centre, scientific shows, and concerts. City President Joanna Agatowska invited residents and tourists to enjoy the programme, which also showcases the Lower Silesian region’s tourist and wellness offerings.
