Swinoujście launches weekend events and free cross‑border tourist guides for Uznam

A series of cultural and sporting events will take place in Swinoujście over several days, including the opening of a historic‑park exhibition at the Museum of Sea Fishing, open‑air jazz and pop concerts, and the ORLEN Beach Volley Tour featuring top Polish beach‑volleyball athletes.

At the same time, the city’s tourist information centre together with the German municipality of Heringsdorf has released new free promotional materials for the island of Uznam/Usedom. Four bilingual folders – covering weekend itineraries, spa and nature attractions, family activities and historic sites – a cycling map and a children’s colouring book are now available at information points on both sides of the border. The project, funded by European Union regional development funds through the Euroregion Pomerania, aims to boost trans‑border tourism.

Both initiatives are intended to attract residents and visitors, encouraging them to explore the cultural, natural and sporting offerings of the Swinoujście‑Uznam region.
