Swish raises $24 million to expand food delivery network

Food delivery platform Swish has raised $24 million in a funding round led by Bertelsmann India Investments. The round included participation from existing investors Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, and Hara Global.

The company utilizes a vertically integrated model of neighborhood kitchens equipped with robotic technology to deliver fresh food within an average of 10 minutes. Swish has reported significant growth, with monthly orders tripling since March to exceed one million orders per month. Current operations span Bangalore, Gurugram, Noida, Delhi, and Ghaziabad.

The new capital is intended to expand the company’s kitchen network and supply chain infrastructure. Swish aims to scale its roadmap to include over 1,000 kitchens within the next five years, targeting the broader $100 billion Indian food services market.
