Swiss Franc exchange rate fluctuates against Polish Zloty

The Swiss Franc (CHF) exchange rate against the Polish Zloty (PLN) showed fluctuations between August 31 and September 1, 2026. On August 31, the rate was recorded at 4.6308 PLN per franc, while by midday on September 1, the value stood at 4.6130 PLN.

As a major global currency, the Swiss Franc is often viewed by investors as a ‘safe haven’ due to its stability. Its value is influenced by the monetary policies of the Swiss National Bank (SNB) and broader global economic conditions.

In Poland, the currency remains a significant point of interest for individuals with financial obligations denominated in CHF, particularly regarding mortgage loans. Additionally, the transition from the CHF LIBOR rate to the SARON rate, following European Commission regulations, marks a significant shift in how interest rates are calculated for financial instruments within the EU.
