Swiss Re Corporate Solutions forms exclusive commercial insurance partnerships in India and Mexico

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions announced two exclusive partnerships to expand its commercial insurance offering. In India, it signed a memorandum of understanding with Bajaj General Insurance to combine Swiss Re’s global risk expertise with Bajaj’s local market presence, targeting large Indian firms in high‑tech, manufacturing and other growth sectors and providing international insurance programs for Indian companies operating abroad. In Mexico, Swiss Re will transfer its direct commercial insurance portfolio to GNP Seguros, using GNP’s distribution network to continue serving Mexican clients. Both arrangements are subject to definitive agreements and regulatory approvals. Ivan Gonzalez, CEO of Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, said the collaborations “mark the beginning of a new era in how we serve clients in India and Mexico, two of the world’s fastest‑growing commercial insurance markets,” adding that the partnerships will help multinational corporations navigate an increasingly interconnected risk landscape.
