In Switzerland, tenants are entitled to receive a detailed utility (Nebenkosten) statement for the period typically running from July 1 to June 30 of the following year. The landlord must deliver the statement within six months after the period ends; otherwise, tenants may send a registered reminder, set a deadline, and involve the tenancy dispute resolution authority to compel the landlord to provide the accounting or to refund advance payments.

In Germany, the dental fee schedule (GOZ) permits billing of the service code 1010 alongside examinations, provided the additional services serve purposes other than prophylaxis and are clearly justified in the invoice. The Bundeszahnärztekammer notes that such justification must be documented, and the billing can be retroactively amended to satisfy reimbursement requirements.
