Swiss Super League: FC Sion and FC Lugano secure decisive victories

In the Swiss Brack Super League, FC Sion secured a 5-2 victory against Grasshopper Club Zürich at Letzigrund. Despite trailing 2-1 early in the second half following a goal by Giotto Morandi, Sion responded effectively. Manager Didier Tholot’s tactical substitutions, specifically the introduction of Josias Lukembila and Rilind Nivokazi, proved decisive in turning the match in Sion's favor.

In another fixture, FC Lugano defeated FC St. Gallen 4-1 to strengthen their position at the top of the table. Lugano established a commanding 4-0 lead within the first 36 minutes through two goals from Elias Pihlström, as well as strikes from Beckham Castro and Bekhruz Karimov. Although St. Gallen managed a late goal via Andrin Hunziker, they were unable to recover from early defensive errors and the absence of captain Lukas Görtler. This victory extends Lugano's unbeaten streak to 17 matches.
