SwitchBot expands smart home range with outdoor lights and Nanoleaf partnership

SwitchBot has announced several expansions to its smart home ecosystem, including the launch of new outdoor lighting and a partnership with Nanoleaf.

The SwitchBot Permanent Outdoor Lights are a 30m weather-resistant system designed for eaves, porches, and walkways. The system utilizes RGBIC technology to allow multiple colors and patterns to appear simultaneously, alongside dedicated warm- and cool-white LEDs for functional daily use. The lights support the Matter over Wi-Fi standard and can be controlled via the SwitchBot app.

Additionally, SwitchBot will begin selling Nanoleaf smart lighting products starting October 20, 2026. This integration allows users to control Nanoleaf products, such as Shapes, Elements, and Lines, directly through the SwitchBot app. The collaboration aims to combine Nanoleaf’s decorative light designs with SwitchBot’s automation capabilities to enhance the smart home experience.
